ABOUT CLAIRE EGAN PHOTOGRAPHER
Claire has a keen eye for detail and a unique perspective. She specialises in portraiture and production photography. Her passion is photodocumentary and capturing raw emotions and candid moments.
With a training in Performance Music and Fine Art she loves working with performers, musicians and artists, working to showcase their individuality and talent through her lens.
Claire is the youngest ever recipient of the Ronald D Woolf memorial photographic award, exhibiting at the National Exhibition and receiving a Photographic Society of New Zealand Silver Medal. She has an Associateship and Licentiateship in Photography and received a prestigious Gold Medal International Wedding and Portrait Photographer of the Year Award in Las Vegas. Other awards include winning the Agfa Listener Timeframe Award and Kodak young photographer of the year.
Claire has had images published in newspapers, magazines and books including; The New Zealand Herald, The Press, Sunday Star-Times, Vanity Fair Australia and First Light; a dawning of the new Millennium.
