I’m a portrait photographer based in Hampstead, NW3, specialising in relaxed, natural and creative portraits for individuals, families, actors, musicians and professionals.
I’m lucky enough to have Hampstead Heath right on my doorstep, and it’s one of my favourite places to photograph. From the open views across London to the woods, ponds and quieter corners of the Heath, there are endless beautiful and atmospheric settings for a portrait session.
I also photograph around Hampstead Village and can create portraits in your home, workplace or another location that feels right for you.
Portrait photography on Hampstead Heath
Hampstead Heath makes a wonderful setting for portraits because it never feels quite the same twice. The changing light, seasons and landscape give every session its own character. We might walk through the woods, find beautiful light among the trees, head up towards Parliament Hill for the view, or simply explore and see what catches our eye. The aim isn't to make you pose endlessly in front of the camera. I want the photographs to feel like you — natural, relaxed and full of personality.

I don't have a fixed formula for a portrait shoot. Some people want something very simple and natural; others want something more creative and considered.
We'll talk beforehand about what you're looking for, and I'll suggest locations, timing and ideas that suit you.
Hampstead Heath photography sessions
Sessions can take place throughout Hampstead Heath, including the areas around Parliament Hill, Kenwood, the ponds and the quieter woodland paths, as well as around Hampstead Village and NW3.
If you have somewhere particular in mind, I'm very happy to work with that too.

Hampstead Heath is also one of my favourite places to photograph dogs.
I offer relaxed, natural dog photography sessions around Hampstead and the Heath, capturing dogs as they really are — running, exploring, playing and enjoying themselves.
